About Membership:
We are a club for enthusiasts of rare high performance sports and collectors cars.
We're a private car club, not a car show. Our focus is on getting the car people together, not drawing a big crowd of spectators.
After many years organizing and running large car show events we decided that it had gotten too big and too hard and just generally a pain. We're a bunch of old guys and we don't want a full time job. We also debated internally for years about who the ultimate "customer" was for our events. In the previous world it became clear that the customer was the spectators. There were expenses to the event - at one time as much as $2500 per monthly event. To cover expenses we needed to have sponsors. Sponsors want lots of spectators. The person left out in this was the car guy. We decided that the "customer" should be the car guy. The intent is for car guys to get together with other car guys. So that's what we've done. In order to cover expenses, and create a process to vet potential members, we created a membership with annual dues and an application approval process.
We try to draw together those that are like-minded - those that have a passion for rare high performance sports and collectors cars.
What's the definition of "rare high performance sports and collectors cars?"
Well, we don't have a specific definition of what that means but we'll attempt to describe it: If you take a look at some of our pictures in the

you can sort of see the makeup of the group. The roots of our little group are vintage European sports. But car our members typically own a variety of cars from the very dawn of the automotive era to late 60's American muscle to the latest exotic super and hypercars. Although no single category of car defines us, a single category of human does - we're all car guys and gals. If you want to talk about how to change the tail light of an F40, change the plugs on a Countach, or even hand shape the headlight on a 1912 Bugatti, we might just be the place for you. We're not an American muscle car group, although our members definitely own those cars. We're not a rodder group, although some of our members own those as well. Some of the more questionable in our group are even off-roaders and own Jeeps and Broncos. We use those examples because if you're looking for a group that fits one of those categories, we're probably not the best fit. But if you've got a Porsche 356, Jag E-type, or a Ferrari 512BBi, something else in the ballpark, or a collection of all the above, you'll feel right at home. We currently average around 175 members but we will limit the max membership to 200. At that point we'll implement a waiting list.
If you're interested in joining, we think it's best to come visit us at our monthly Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering. We gather every first Saturday from 7-10am to catch up on the latest projects and activities. Meet a few members and let's see if it's a good fit.
In addition to our monthly gathering we also get together for drives, dinners, parties, garage tours, race watching, and other activities. More details to be added.
After reading that, if it looks like a good fit, then start the application process here:
